experience.
A festive
party can be had with an
educational twist.
When planning a That's so Raven Party for your preteen, you should be ready to indulge your guests in a costume party that is fun and educational! Lest we forget how important creativity is to learning, we should always remember to teach this important facet of education at every opportunity. Since Raven gets in disguise on a regular basis, consider having all guests come to the party dressed in a disguise. You can always have a contest with a neat prize to help motivate the guests to come in the best costume that they can think of.
Another option, would be to play a game of Disguises and Music! Set this game to popular music or music from the show. Have two or three boxes of clothing, and accessories such as make up, wigs, glasses, jewels, scarves, etc. Be sure to put in clothes of all sizes. Oversized clothes and outrageous items work best. Have a start zone in the middle of the room. Place boxes at different areas equal distances from the safe zone.
Have all of the kids get in the safe zone. When the music starts, everyone should rush over, get an item, and put it on, before rushing back to the safe zone. The game just continues until all of the items are gone. Take photos of everyone when they are all dressed, print them out, put them in an inexpensive dollar photo album, and let the guests take them home with them when they leave. Be sure to print out an extra for the birthday girl, so she can have a full album of her party as a memento.
