The Disney Channel television show “That’s So Raven” is so a hit among young girls; and no “That’s So Raven” party would be complete without some rockin’ Raven trivia.
Guests no doubt will want to talk about the unique plot and cast of this popular show. Onetime Cosby Kid and verified ‘Cheetah Girl’ Raven Simone has established herself as both a talented entertainer and a stellar role model for young girls in the role of Raven (now that’s some inspired casting!:)), a psychic teen-ager who can see into the future; a unique gift which inspires her and her best friends Eddie and Chelsea to get into to any number of hilarious misadventures. The show’s other main characters include Cory, Raven’s little brother, and her parents Victor and Tanya.
Also talk at the party about the things that make Raven SO appealing to young girls. Aside from inspiring young girls around the world with her spunk and spirit, the character of Raven is known for her sharp, colorful fashion sense (expressed through the heavy use of jewelry and vibrant colors such as blue, red, or dark mauve); and her show has inspired a full line of merchandise, including confetti, stick on appliqués, T-shirts, stickers, sunglasses, novelty jewelry (lip gloss necklaces are available), blow outs, etc.
And be sure to share a bit about the history of the show. “That’s So Raven” premiered on the Disney Channel on January 17, 2003, and ended on November 10, 2007. Aside from inspiring young girls everywhere, the program also inspired the creation of the Disney Channel's first spin-off series: Cory in the House. The series was nominated in 2005 and 2007 for Emmy Awards for outstanding children's programming.
