“Sir Topham Hat Says…” Thomas the Train Party Game: This is a fun Thomas the Tank Engine-themed version of the classic game, “Simon Says”. Gather the children in a group, and stand at the front. Give the children a series of simple commands such as “Sir Topham Hat says jump up and down…Sir Topham Hat says clap your hands…Sir Topham Hat says touch your toes” and so on. Every so often, give the children a command without saying “Sir Topham Hat says…” first. Competitive play isn’t encouraged for very young children, but for those slightly older, every child who follows an incorrect command must sit down and the last player standing wins this Thomas the Train party game.
