Tinkerbell has indeed created a personal history for herself and has also been known as Tink for short. This fictional character that originated in JM Barrie's play known as Peter and Wendy has appeared in many films as well as television programs related to the ever popular Peter Pan series and stories. The official sequel which is also known as Peter Pan in Scarlett also features the lovely Tink in all of her magical surroundings. She is also known to leave a sprinkling of fairy dust in her wake.
Although Tinkerbells origins and history began as somewhat of a fairy sidekick she has made her own way into the media as the unofficial Disney spokesfairy and is commonly seen flitting around on advertisement splash screens. As described by her creator, Tinkerbell began her life as a fairy who scrubbed pots and pans, somewhat as an actual tinker would. However since her dialogue consist mostly of the sound of a tinkling bell only other fairies can communicate openly with Tink.
Tinkerbell also has shown a mischievous spirit in her past history as she has been the instigator to some minor taunting of other characters as well as a true and loyal friend to Peter Pan himself. This fairy is also so tiny that the extremes in her character and personality are rather pronounced in she doesn't have the ability to hold more than one feeling at a time. Although Tink always shows an innate kinship with Peter, she hasn't always proved herself a great fan of Wendy.
