The twenties party can be a great way to spend the evening with your friends, especially when everyone gets dressed up. You can also dress up the dinner table at your Twenties party with some fancy folded napkins. This is an elegant party craft item that you can create before the party for your buffet table or your dinner table. Or you can get the guests to help you out with the set up, plus its an excellent activity to help keep your guests or the kids at your party engaged. Fancy Folded Twenties Napkin Start to create your fancy looking Twenties dinner napkin with one large cloth napkin. Fold one edge over to the over edge horizontally. Next, fold the napkin top to bottom, vertically. Next, turn the Twenties style folded napkin square so that it looks like a diamond to you with open edges to the bottom. Fold the bottom corners up to the top corner horizontally. Now you should have a napkin that looks like a triangle. Imagine a straight vertical line running from the top corner to the bottom edge of the napkin. Fold the outer edges of the napkin towards this imaginary line so that they touch, while also pulling the two bottom points towards each other. You should end up with a narrow upside down kite shape. Turn the bottom of the kite shape under to create a narrow triangle. Fold the twenties style napkin lengthwise along the center. Stand the napkin with the folds facing upwards. Pull the four open pleats upwards by the corners to arrange a finished fold. This makes a great napkin arrangement to place on each of the plates at your Twenties style dinner setting. Just make sure you use cloth napkins for your folding or it will be too stiff to fold easily.
