Personalizing an invitation can run the gambit from using the guest’s name to putting a picture of the guest on the invitation. When To Mail the Invitations
Deciding when to mail the invitation should be the result of answering several questions. Is it going to be a party held during a busy party season? Will the guests need time to get a costume together? Will it be a pot luck or chip in party? How much time to you need to prepare after the replies are returned? Once your know these answers then you will have a good idea of whether to mail the invitations out two to three weeks in advance or three to four weeks in advance.
