Twilight spicy Rice
This rice is good for those twilight fans. It has the perfect spice to give you energy and have you feeling like twilight character. It can be made within minutes and satisfy a whole gang of vampires. Don’t forget to be friendly and share as everyone would like to feel the warmth of this Twilight Spicy rice.
Prep time: 35 minutes
Ingredients:
* ½ c. onion, finely chopped
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 c. long grain rice, uncooked
* 3 tbsp. jalapeño peppers, finely chopped
* 2 c. vegetable broth
* ¾ tsp. cumin
* 2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, minced
* salt to taste (optional)
Directions:
1. Spray saucepan with nonstick butter spray.
2. Sauté onion and garlic in saucepan until tender.
3. Add rice, jalapeños, broth, and cumin to saucepan and bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
5. Remove from heat and stir in cilantro.
6. Add salt to taste (optional).
This Twilight spicy Rice can be served with chicken, meat or fish. Have some juice choices to accompany this marvelous dish, make enough because it will disappear within minutes. This dish will keep you energized to continue the game playing and feeling like a real Twilight vampire.

Twilight vampire is very popular with all ages. If you are having a vampireparty with incorporating the Twilight vampire theme, the menu is very important to consider. You will want to capture the theme and mood of Twilight through your food and drink selections.
To start off, you should have red apples either scattered around the table or in a bowl. This is seen on the cover of Twilight.
Start off with a nice beverage that include butterscotch instant pudding, applesauce, ground cinnamon, cool whip and graham crackers. This nice treat will surely start a conversation. You can also make many variations of apple pies, sweet apple desserts and more. For an adult party, you can make some Bloody Marys as well as many other mix drinks.
If you will be having a cake, you can incorporate the Twilight theme by imposing an edible image on the cake of a book cover or favorite characters. Cupcakes are also a nice option because they are easily transportable and often times easier to decorate by adding ringed items or items that are simply placed in the center via a toothpick. A nice touch would be to use sparkle black icing on the cake/cupcakes.
