One way to create an Under The Sea that truly feels like it is under the sea or on the ocean is by using the power of ocean music. Visual elements of a party are just one aspect of the party so do not forget to incorporate music as well. Oceans sounds of waves crashing on the beach, sounds of dolphins and whales is perfect for an Under The Sea party. Include a wide range of party supplies such as blue cellophane for an underwater feel, fish cutouts, faux seaweed and other ocean life. Celebrating a special event with outstanding performances that include singing, dancing and acting is a great way to keep the guests involved in the celebration. These fun activities are perfect for guests of all ages and will add a great deal to the celebration. More often than not, these performances will be the perfect addition to a fun filled and exciting event. Ocean music albums include:

Echoes of Nature: Ocean Waves by Peter Roberts Media
Sounds of the Earth: Ocean Waves Sounds Of The Earth (Series), Mark Cosmo

Song of the Dolphins [Enhanced] by Environmental & Ecological Sou
Aquatic Echoes A box can serve a dual purpose by first being able to hold supplies, but also be decorated on the outside for decor use. Don't be hesitant about asking parents to help out at a celebration for children. With a little imagination and white poster board, crayons, coloring pencils, tape, staples and printed photo images that can be cut, kids can create their own paper hats.

There is no limit how far an Under The Sea party can go with homemade party supplies. It is important to start the party planning well before the scheduled party date to ensure quality party supplies are gathered and made. The sea is littered with spectacular, interesting, unique creatures; therefore, do some research and find the coolest creatures to draw on large sheets of paper and poster board. The sea is anything but boring and dull so use vibrant oranges, reds, purples, and blues to represent water. Use a lot of blue cellophane to create the illusion of water. Place the cellophane on the walls, party table and anywhere splashes of color are needed. Make a faux coral reef using plastic of Paris, paint, sealant and coral mod. Use the faux coral reef as a table centerpiece.

Most people will find that celebrating a special event with amazing event trimmings, designs and materials is always a great way to add fun to a festive celebration. Enjoyable designs that are perfect for guests of all ages will enhance the event and make the guests feel very special. More often than not, these colorful embellishments will add a lot of attention to the celebration. Handmade Under The Sea party supplies are not limited to only fish and sea creatures. Mermaids, while fictional (or so we think), are a major part of the sea’s lore and history. Draw the mermaid face, arms, and torsos on a large sheet of paper. Use shimmering aqua green fabric for the mermaids tail, red wig (or desired colored wig), and shells for to cover the chest. Paste the materials on the sheet of paper to give the mermaid a 3D look.

An Under The Sea cake would be great for a birthday boy’s theme party. This exciting celebration is the ideal time for a variety of creative desserts and other tasty treats designed especially for this event. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable fares that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special. Depending on the size of the crowd invited, the cake can be a large sheet cake, all decorated with undersea animal shapes and coral, or it can be a triple layer cake that is decorated all around the outside sides of it.

A flat sheet cake can be ordered plain and the creative decorating left to the hostess. Meanwhile, gathering all of the interesting decorations should be fun. If no fish shaped cake decorations can be found, they can be created with decorating gel quite easily. You might even try your hand at a seahorse.

Glittery decorations would be perfect also, as it is supposed to be under water. Make bubbles out of various shaped silver ball cake decorations, and make sure that everything is edible.

The frosting all around it, whether it is a flat sheet cake, or a three-layer high cake, should be blue and green, resembling the waters of the ocean.

And an interesting addition might be seaweed that is created by melting caramel and pouring very thin amounts onto a surface to let it cool. When it is cool and hardened, it can be placed on top or sides of the cake.

A Nautical Under the Sea sleepover party can be great fun for the kids and the adults. You’ll probably remember the theme from long ago Proms and school dances of the forties and fifties. Heck this is such a Nautical popular theme there are probably still Under The Sea dances being held all over the place.

Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. This simple tip will ensure that the hostess has a stress free and very entertaining time during the actual celebration. For the sleepover party you can make your own Nautical Under the Sea party as special as you want. Wall murals are great ways to add instant atmosphere to any room and you’ll find plenty of ocean themed hangings to use at your party. There are magical coral reefs, tropical islands and schools of colorful fish ready and waiting to be added to your Under the Sea party area.

Inflatables are fun items to use at any party and they make for easy storage after the party is over. All you need to do is let the air out of them and roll them up. Inflatable fish can be scattered around the party area and they will practically invite the guests to come and play with them. Kids will be lounging on inflatable sharks and starting up games of toss the flounder in your living room!

Keep the theme up with fun Nautical Under the Sea themed movies for everyone to watch. You can plan to show, The Little Mermaid, Splash and for some scary effect, Deep Blue Sea. Food absolutely has to be Fish and Chips. But you can also serve up those cute little fish crackers and for candy have some gummy fish on hand. Be sure to serve everything in Under the Sea themed paper supplies.

Lastly send everyone home with a few fun Nautical Under the Sea themed party favors. Maybe a mini glass pendant filled with colored sand can keep kids happy? Or you can give the younger ones a plastic bucket and shovel set for building sand castles and be sure to give everyone a few cool sea shells to have on hand.

Under the Sea has made history as an Academy Award recipient for this Disney film created song. This song composed by Alan Menken including lyrics by Howard Ashman has a heavily Calypso sounding beat in the common style of the Caribbean islands. Performed by Sam Wright the tune was created as a plea from Sebastian the Crab to Ariel begging her to stay a sea creature and to resist her great urge to become fully human. Sebastian understands that the lure of being with the Price is what calls Ariel to the human life but wants her to understand how much more carefree oceanic life really is.

This 2002 song was also featured in the video game Kingdom Hearts as background music for a section of the game known as Atlantic world. In the year 2007 this song was actually added to the Broadway production of the film as well. Having come from the hit movie The Little Mermaid had already given this delightful piece of music a kick start in its popularity.

Most people are amazed at the history behind many of the shows from the present and past. Like others before them the times of past and the recordings are often as interesting now as they were many years ago. For this reason, fans of the show have held strong and their popularity has continued to grow. The history of the song includes the fact that this song is still currently played at Disney theme parks worldwide as well as frequently on Disney Cruise lines. It is much considered a love song and even though its origins and even its words can indicate a fishy life, millions of listeners have found themselves caught up in the nature of the pain of the suffering Sebastian when trying desperately to hold onto a friend.
