We all know Pooh’s love for honey; therefore take a honey pot and paint it blue or gold and write Hunny on it. After the paint is dry, take a piece of white paper and paste it on. Write Hunny on the paper before or after applying it to the pot. Paint honey (yellow paint) on the side of the pot to make it seem the honey is overflowing over the edges of the pot for added realism. Winnie The Pooh’s pot can also be used as the party table’s centerpiece. In Keeping with the Winnie The Pooh themed, cut out small version of the honey pot to use as a banner. Take gold construction paper and cut out as many honey pots as needed in order to place the letters in the center of the honey pot. For example, to spell out happy birthday, thirteen honey pots are needed and so on. Create the Hundred Acres Forest by placing browns and green construction paper in the shape of trees. It takes time, research, and a bit of creativity to throw a wonderful themed birthday party with homemade party supplies.

Winnie the Pooh is loved by many generations of kids of all ages, so a Winnie the Pooh theme party, along with a Pooh cake, would be fun for any child. This exciting celebration is the ideal time for a variety of creative desserts and other tasty treats designed especially for this event. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable fares that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special.

To create the cake, just use a picture of Winnie the Pooh himself. The face of the Pooh is cute, so just use that to make things simple. If a cake is going to be baked, a second one will be needed to add the ears, cheeks, and the top of his red shirt. Or, a larger cake can be cut out in the appropriate shape of his head, along with the top of his shirt.

Next, all that is needed is brown and red frosting. The brown will most likely be a chocolate, so choose the right color chocolate, that is, mocha, or not too dark. After all, you will want the kids to see the eyes and the great big smile on Winnie’s face. After the face and ears are frosted, give it some texture to make it look a bit scruffy, like fur.

Using black cake decorating gel, put some inside the ears to add depth, make the simple round eyes, add eyebrows, and a big smile.

Then with the red frosting, outline the bottom of the chin to make his famous red shirt recognizable.

That Pooh Bear loves his honey and you can certainly focus on honey treats to make your Winnie The Pooh Party even better. The adult guests at your party will love that you worked to make this party theme original and the kids will just love their party, especially if a certain someone likes the Pooh Bear and his friends, Eyore, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl and all the other characters that live in the hundred acres woods.

Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. This simple tip will ensure that the hostess has a stress free and very entertaining time during the actual celebration. To start there are a couple of different Winnie the Pooh themes you can focus on when picking up party supplies and decorations. If the party is for a very young guest, like a baby or toddler, you might want to pick up the pastel Winnie the Pooh decorations with soft yellows, blues and greens and an all around softer pooh bear. Or you may prefer the classic Winnie the Pooh character’s look, just as he appeared in all those great Winnie the Pooh movies and cartoons. So pick up your paper supplies, meaning plates, napkins and tablecloths, and the guests will have something fun to eat those tasty honey treats off of. You can also put out a couple of Hunny jars on the table either empty or filled with honey to further add to the party.

The treats for your party can be tea with lots of honey and lemon, carrot cake (because rabbit loves carrots), honey bread, and biscuits drizzled with honey and a special treat for the kids chocolate candy filled with honey. Yum!

Use lots of streamers and confetti at this party. Try picking up some wall hangings of Winnie the Pooh or his hunny jars. Yellow and gold, the colors of honey should definitely be emphasized in the party area. If the party is for a wee one, you should put down blankets for him or her to conk out on after they get tired, or just when they start watching Winnie the Pooh cartoons.

Winnie the Pooh is an iconic cartoon bear that has a long and steady history of trying to teach children some grace, kindness and respect for their fellow peers. Most people are amazed at the history behind many of the shows from the present and past. Like others before them the times of past and the recordings are often as interesting now as they were many years ago. For this reason, fans of the show have held strong and their popularity has continued to grow. Some of the history of this friendly bear began when the main human character named Christopher Milne named his stuffed toy bear after a Canadian black bear named Winnie that he often came across at London Zoo. Winnie was also short for his hometown of Winnipeg Canada.

Although Winnie the Pooh history is littered with name changes they finally did decide on the short but effective Pooh in the end. Poohs world is the forest in which he is surrounded by many of his friends including the excitable Tigger, Piglet and many other characters of the forest that offer him advice in different manners whenever he is stuck in a quandary. Poohs philosophical nature lends itself to him mulling over each problem until he comes up with a satisfactory answer that will please all involved.

The history of Poohs message has always been one of tolerance and substance when it comes to being a true friend./ He teaches the youngest children how important it is to mull over an issue until the one that seems the most morally correct presents itself. It is of utmost importance to Pooh to always act honorably towards his friends and loved ones and that is the message he has successfully carried to millions of children over the years. Get creative by using poster board and LED lights to make your own light up banner or message. If your special occasion for the kids includes face painting be sure to check with their parent first. Get creative by using poster board and LED lights to make your own light up banner or message. The history of Winnie the Pooh has different interpretations by each person, so use your own judgement.
