A handmade X Games theme piñata can be made to look like a skateboard, bike, or the X in X Games. No matter the choice, the celebrant will be more than thrilled to bash it open for the tasty treats and toys inside. A skateboard piñata is easy to make and only requires a few simple materials. Use a box for the main section of the skateboard. Use toilet paper cardboard rolls to connect the skateboard wheels (toilet paper rolls with the toilet paper still on). Rolls of tape are all acceptable wheels for the skateboard.

For the curve in the skateboard use a long balloon and form the curved shape. Tape and retape everything together but ensure to cut out a hole in the cardboard so when hit in the sweet spot it will break open. Once all the pieces are securely taped together, the paper mache can begin. Apply 3 layers of paper mache to the skateboard, allowing them to dry overnight for each layer.

Once the skateboard is completely dry, it is time to add the tissue paper. The colors of the skateboard should be vibrant and festive looking so opt for yellows, oranges, reds, and blues.
