Yu Gi Oh Cocoa Cola Cake
Yu Gi Oh Cocoa Cola Cake is such a fun dessert to give your guest at the next event, everyone seems to always enjoy it at my parties.
2 cup Flour
1 1/2 cup Marshmallows - Minature
2 cup Sugar
1 cup Margarine
2 tsp Cocoa - Unsweetened
1 cup Cola
1/2 cup Buttermilk
2 ea Eggs - Beaten
1 tsp Soda
2 Tbsp Margarine
2 Tbsp Cocoa - Unsweetened
8 Tbsp Cola
2 cup Sugar - Powdered
1 cup Nuts - Chopped
Combine flour & sugar in a large mixing bowl. Melt butter,
add cocoa and cola (not diet), heat to boiling. Cool
slightly. Pour over flour and sugar mixture, stir till well
blended. Add buttermilk, beaten eggs, soda & vanilla. Mix
well, stir in marshmallows. Pour into greased & floured 13x9
pan and bake @ 350 for 40 min., or till tests done. Frost
while hot. FROSTING: Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan
and heat to boil- ing. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Stir
in chopped nuts.
A very good, and unusual, cake
Cocoa Cola cake is a very unique must try cake. I was given a piece by my cousin Leslie and I was in shook, I loved it very much it is way different from others.

The Yu Gi Oh party is a great way for you to show your children who happen to be into Manga and comics that you too, know all about those fun and hip kids shows. There's not much to putting one together, as merchandisers have already created a variety of party goods and paper goods themed after the show for you to pick up and use at the party. By the way this makes a great party for you to have at a boy's birthday party. Its also good for a girl's party, but not as many girls seem to be interested in the Manga characters of the Yu Gi Oh television series.
When putting together your Yu Gi Oh party you'll need an equally suitable menu for the kids to gnosh on while playing games or sitting around the television, or even reading some of the comics with their friends. We suggest an oriental themed menu for the kids with Manga Orange Sauce, Fight for your Life Chicken and You're So Deep Fried Rice. Don't forget something sweet to munch on in the form of dessert. Fortune Cookies can be modified just a little bit to make them extra special for your special ocassion. Try making some Oriental Ice Cream with them for the kids.
A simple Oriental ice cream dish can be made with vanilla or chocolate ice cream, a sweet orange sauce and some fortune cookies dipped in chocolate. First, you'll need to prepare the fortune cookies. Since they have small slips of paper with fortunes inside, you won't be able to dip the entire cookie in chocolate. Melt half a bag of chocolate chips and a small piece of paraffin wax together. When the chocolate mix is smooth, lightly dip the bottom half of each fortune cookie in the sauce and set it on a tray to cool and harden. The chocolate coating will keep your fortune cookies from getting soggy. Next, you'll want to make the orange sauce. It is possible to find a sweet orange sauce at the store, but if you can't its fairly easy to make. Mix a half a cup to a cup full of corn syrup with half of a packet of orange drink mix. If you have a lemon, lime or some other citrus in hand you can squeeze some of the juice in for additional flavor. Heat in the microwave and you have your sweet orange sauce. Give the kids each a scoop of vanilla or chocolate in a bowl with some sweet orange sauce dribbled on and a fortune cookie resting on top. Its a great tasty way to end the Yu Gi Oh Birthday party. By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete Yu Gi Oh theme party feeling. |
